Job description

The Opportunity:We are seeking an Advanced Solutions Consultant to provide advanced technical guidance and support to customers across a variety of industries. This role partners closely with sales teams to understand customer requirements and design customized solutions that align to business goals and technical needs.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, exceptional problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and presentation abilities, along with a deep understanding of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and business processes.
  • Role: Advanced Solutions Consultant
  • Experience: 5+ years in an IT sales or solutions consulting role
  • Location: Southern California
  • Employment Type: Full Time
  • Travel: Local and overnight travel to customer, vendor, and company locations as needed.
Responsibilities
Pre-Sales Consulting & Solution Design
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify and qualify potential client opportunities.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and gather/document requirements from clients to understand their business goals and technical needs.
  • Design and present technical solutions that clearly demonstrate alignment with client objectives.
  • Build and deliver product demonstrations, proofs of concept (POCs), and prototypes to showcase solution capabilities.
  • Identify and address technical risks and challenges, providing mitigation strategies to ensure successful implementation.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster trust and serve as a trusted advisor.
  • Assist with post-sale implementation activities to support a smooth transition and high customer satisfaction.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on performance, issues, and opportunities.

Practice & Solution Development
  • Collaborate with practice leads to provide feedback on solution enhancements and offering improvements based on client needs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape.
  • Stay current on best practices and innovations in Professional Services to drive continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications
Technical & Domain Expertise
  • Strong knowledge of Professional Services processes, methodologies, and frameworks.
  • Proficiency with NetSuite and other ERP tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.

  • Excellent team engagement skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve results.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of work experience in a relevant role within an IT sales or solutions consulting organization.

Annual Salary Range is $150,000 to $275,000 depending on experience. The compensation range reflects the Company's reasonable expectations at the time of posting. We consider a number of factors when making individual compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business needs.
