About this position

We are seeking a passionate wellness professional/ acute care provider/ to provide ONSITE triage/injury management and one-on-one health behavior change interventions for our construction client partner. You will promote a healthy culture and strive to engage employees in the company's well-being offerings. This candidate will serve as a wellness ambassador and role model.
Responsibilities and Duties

NOTE: You MUST be a Certified Athletlic Trainer through the NATA (not a personal trainer).

- Provide one-to-one health coaching for employees
Provide triage and acute services to various trades at a construction site
- Lead stretch and flex warm-up sessions for various workers onsite
Work closely with safety committees, union representatives and foremen to provide wellness education to the population
Create and deploy health promotion, education, activities and challenges
Track health behavior change using proprietary health coaching software
Conduct in-person health risk assessments and biometric screens (training provided)
Requirements:

Exceptional interpersonal, organization and communication skills required
Ability to work autonomously, and manage multiple priorities
Preferred:

  • Experience providing workplace wellness programs and/or wellness education/formal training
  • Experience with construction / manufacturing setting
  • Trained to provide cholesterol and blood pressure screenings
  • Experience with motivational interviewing techniques
  • Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task
  • Adept at counseling individuals from diverse backgrounds
Qualifications and Skills

Education Requirements:

Required: BS Degree in Community Health Education or related field

Required: Certified Athletic Trainer, NATA
