Senior Specialist, Workplace Planning & Strategy

(This role may sit in any of the listed office locations and follows a hybrid schedule with a minimum of three in-office days per week.)

The Senior Specialist in Workplace Planning & Strategy role will play a crucial part in developing workplace strategy solutions and leading client-facing project engagements around the future of work, return to work, portfolio optimization and more traditional occupancy planning and workplace planning and execution. In addition to a consulting, planning and technical background, the role requires strong presentation and organizational skills.

What this job involves:

Workplace Expertise:

  • Partner with our brokers and other salespeople for business development and client service delivery.

  • Contribute as a key member of client facing teams to develop, implement, & manage Workplace Strategy programs

  • Supporting prep meeting, pitch content, as well as attending pitches to win brokerage business.

  • Prep may include benchmarking current spaces and comparing to industry peers or researching a firm's current workplace environment and identifying areas of potential improvement related to space usage, culture, or demographics.

  • Utilize JLL and other technologies to facilitate programming and space planning exercises for clients. This includes work inAutoCAD or Revit, along with JLL-proprietary software.

  • Work with JLL Marketing and Research to create workplace collateral and thought leadership pieces organized by different industry types.

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) by staying abreast of current issues and trends in business, corporate real estate, workplace strategies, occupancy planning, and organizational development and through active participation in relevant industry forums and professional associations

  • On key projects, participate in programming efforts, employee surveys, test-fits, business interviews, utilization studies, mobility assessments, visioning sessions and focus groups.

  • Manage project document control across projects.

  • Collaborate with workplace and occupancy planners on benchmarking, trends, recommendations, and report-outs.

Relationship Management / Delivery:

  • Maintain strong working relationships withinternal stakeholderandkeyclients.

  • Be the project Engagement Manager for strategic projects

  • Act as escalation point for delivery issues

  • Manage consistent delivery of Workplace & Occupancy Planning and ensure high level of execution and client satisfaction

The Candidate:

The successful candidate will have a strong combination of Workplace and/or Occupancy Planning experience, the ability to win business, and deliver workplace projects.

Estimated compensation for this position:

80,000.00 - 95,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
