Job Summary
Responsible for leading the strategic design, implementation, and management of enterprise-wide workforce planning and development initiatives. Acts as a subject matter expert and primary liaison between the health system and key educational, community, and workforce stakeholders. Provides technical leadership in developing talent pipelines and organizational strategies to address the evolving needs of the healthcare workforce. Mentors team members, drives continuous process improvement, and aligns workforce development programs with long-term organizational goals.
Essential Functions
Leads the planning, development, and execution of comprehensive workforce development initiatives and programs, ensuring alignment with health system strategic objectives.
Architects and oversees multi-channel strategies to build talent networks, connecting the organization with qualified active and passive candidates through partnerships with high schools, technical schools, and universities.
Leads the implementation and delivery of enterprise-level student experiences and workforce programs, overseeing orientation, management coordination, and pathways for success across all age groups.
Serves as the primary escalation point for complex workforce development issues and provides expert guidance to staff, community partners, and organizational leadership regarding workforce efforts and challenges.
Develops and enforces standards for recruitment marketing, employer branding, and workforce metrics; ensures program adherence to system-wide policies and best practices.
Directs the operations of the Workforce Institute, setting its goals and performance benchmarks to support the health system's talent strategy.
Mentors team members, conducts performance reviews of departmental initiatives, and leads annual continuous service improvement projects to enhance efficiency and recruitment effectiveness.
Collaborates with key organizational leaders and external stakeholders to identify workforce gaps, address potential barriers to success, and secure funding through grant research and writing.
Oversees the development of high-level monthly reporting, analyzing data trends from educational partnerships and recruiting events to drive data-informed decision-making.

Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
Experience Requirement
7+ years of experience in human resources, talent acquisition, or workforce development. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field.
