Seasonal Worker - All Divisions
Recent high school graduates currently enrolled in college, as well as full-time university students, are eligible to apply for various positions at the utility company.

  • Assignments begin in May and end no later than August 30.
  • All summer positions are SEASONAL TEMPORARY assignments and do not entitle the applicant to any fringe benefits (health insurance, life insurance, etc.).
  • Positions may be limited to 30 hours per week.
  • Many assignments include manual labor working outside in the heat and elements; others include a mix of office and field work, including CAD, engineering, accounting, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate must pass an observed drug screen and background check, as well as, provide the enrollment specifications detailed above.

College majors that are generally preferred for summer employment include:

  • Accounting and Business Administration
  • Engineering, CAD
  • Computer Science and Management Information Systems
  • Chemistry, Physics and Biology
