Job Title: Workday Security Administrator

Location: Mclean, VA (Hybrid)

Duration: 6 Months Position with possible extensionย 

Job Description:

  • Workday security person to help with the integration to Client
  • Security Implementation: Assist in the design, implementation, and management of security controls for the Workday environment.
  • Ensure security configurations and integrations are robust and effective.

Access Management:

  • Implement and manage role-based access controls (RBAC) to ensure appropriate access levels for users.
  • Regularly review and update access permissions to maintain compliance and security

Policy Adherence:

  • Ensure compliance with internal security policies and industry best practices.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with IT, HR, and other business units to understand security requirements and integrate security measures into business processes.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to stakeholders.

Incident Response:

  • Assist in the investigation and response to security incidents related to the Workday environment.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and remediation efforts.
  • 2+ years of experience configuring SSO with Workday using SAML 2.0 and integrating with enterprise IdPs.

Workday Pro Certification in Security (nice to have)

  • 5+ years of experience in Workday security administration.
