Our direct client is looking for an Certified Project Manager 157817

This position is for up to 6 months with the option of extension, and the client is in Madison, WI.

PMP CERTIFICATION ATTACHMENT IS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION.

Top Required Skills & Years of Experience:

1 – Workday implementation experience (2 years’ experience)

2 – Project Management experience (2 years’ experience)

3 – Ability to coordinate with City employees and external vendor resources, documenting as-is business processes (3 years’ experience)

4 – Schedule Teams meetings with agendas and facilitate the meetings to meet the required goals based on project deadlines (3 years’ experience)

5 – PMP Certification attached at time of submission

Nice to Have Skills:

1 – Plan and document project tasks, based on project goals (2 years’ experience)

2 – Identify, assess and propose solutions to risks (2 years’ experience)

3 – Develop activity and resource planning, based on the Statement of Work (2 years’ experience)

Interview Process: Interviews will be conducted on a 45-minute Teams meeting

Duration of the Contract: The contract will be 30-40 hours per week and will last 6 months. This may be extended on an as-needed basis.

Project details: The City of Milwaukee is in the process of replacing PeopleSoft (FMIS / HRMS) with Workday for HR, Payroll and Financials. We are looking to hire a Certified Project Manager with Workday experience.

The selected candidate will work with the various City of Milwaukee departments to ensure the implementation project avoids issues / risks.

Additional details: It is extremely important for the Project Manager to be efficient when responding to incoming email requests from the various city departments, organized when documenting their needs and requests, and must be an excellent communicator during stressful situations.
