Schedule is flexible and work hours can be during the hours of 7 am to 5 pm. Position is for remote work within the United States. Team rotational 24/7 on call support is required.

Pay Range

$37.50 - $56.25

Major Responsibilities:

  • Create, modify, and design Workday integrations using the following: Workday Studio, EIB, Connector, Extend, and Orchestrate.
  • Design and develop components and/or reports for Workday integrations that include use of Workday BIRT, REST/SOAP API, calculated fields, integration security, custom reports, XML transformations
  • Complies with established coding standards and development processes to ensure quality.
  • Analyzes system requirements and existing business processes and information systems. Participates in business process reviews.
  • Assists in systems planning, scheduling and implementation. Initiates corrective action to stay on schedule.
  • Assists with server troubleshooting/configuration and architecture.
  • Designs and develops components for all application tiers, business logic, security, and web services.
  • Creates prototypes and codes, tests, debugs, documents and implements moderately complex integrations and software applications.
  • Assists and provides guidance to other staff on issues related to Workday development. Assists with the development and maintenance of internal training material.
  • Support production, testing, and development tenants including rotational on call support.


Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

  • None Required.


Education Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Computer Science or related field.


Experience Required:

  • Typically requires 3 years of experience in Workday Integration Development


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Experience with Workday Studio for complex integrations
  • Workday Integration Cloud - Knowledge of EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder) and Core Connectors.
  • Workday Extend - Ability to develop custom applications within Workday
  • Workday BIRT (Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools) - Custom reporting experience
  • Workday REST/SOAP APIs - Understanding of Workday Web Services for integration
  • Workday Calculated Fields - Creating and managing calculated fields for reporting and business logic
  • Workday Security & Business Process Frameworks - Configuring integration security, security groups, and workflow automation
  • Programming and development skills XSLT, XML, JSON - For data transformation and integrations.
  • Additional Programming and development skills a plus including Java, Python, or other scripting languages.
  • Report writing - creating Workday advanced reports and composite reports.
  • Business Process Configuration - Setting up and optimizing workflows.
  • Project Management - Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, or other project-tracking tools.
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft office suite tools such as but not limited to SharePoint, Teams, OneNote, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with configuring applications and required security on Microsoft based servers.
  • Attention to software quality, using tools and methods such as source control, unit testing, debugging, and continuous integration.
  • Ability to interact and work through technical requirements with clients to formulate and document project design and implementation requirements.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communications skills when consulting with internal and external partners.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to gather and organize data.
  • Strong problem and issue resolution skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, set appropriate priorities and accomplish assignments in a thorough and timely manner.
