Remote Legal Word Processor
National Law Firm | Remote | Flexible Schedule

Are you an experienced Legal Word Processor who thrives in a fast-paced law firm environment? Our client, a prestigious national law firm, is seeking a detail-oriented professional to join its team in a fully remote role.

This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who takes pride in producing flawless legal documents, enjoys working independently, and is available to work a flexible schedule based on the firm's workload and deadlines.


Responsibilities:

  • Format, revise, and proofread complex legal documents with exceptional accuracy
  • Create, edit, and troubleshoot Microsoft Word Styles
  • Generate and update Tables of Authorities (TOA) and Tables of Contents (TOC)
  • Prepare briefs, pleadings, agreements, contracts, and other legal documents
  • Convert, merge, compare, and edit documents while maintaining firm formatting standards
  • Prioritize multiple assignments in a deadline-driven environment
  • Collaborate remotely with attorneys and legal staff across multiple offices

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of legal word processing experience in a law firm
  • Advanced Microsoft Word skills, including Styles, TOA, and TOC
  • Experience formatting complex litigation and transactional documents
  • Strong proofreading and grammar skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or overtime when needed
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
