We are looking for a full-time evening word processor for our Detroit office. 

Position hours are Monday – Friday, 12pm – 8pm 


Key Responsibilities
Type, edit and transcribe legal documents and handwritten materials received from attorneys and their assistants in a busy law office. Proofread and redline documents to ensure accuracy of material, grammar and punctuation. 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Previous experience of 2-5 years in a legal or professional environment preferred. 
  • Must possess excellent typing skills; proficient in Microsoft Word, including styling.
  • Knowledge of legal terms preferred. 
  • Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints. 
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to proofread typed material for grammatical, typographical or spelling errors. 
  • Must be self-motivated, with the ability to work quickly, efficiently and confidently without close supervision.Â
