Part-Time Medical Fax Management Clerk
Job Summary:

The Fax Management Clerk is responsible for organizing, reviewing, and processing incoming fax documents to ensure accurate and timely distribution within the organization. This role supports office efficiency by maintaining a clear and organized fax system and ensuring important documents are properly routed and documented.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review fax documents for completeness, accuracy, and relevance
  • Sort and distribute faxes to appropriate departments or personnel
  • Scan, upload, and index faxed documents into electronic systems (EHR/EMR or shared drives)
  • Ensure proper labeling and documentation of all processed faxes
  • Identify urgent or time-sensitive documents and prioritize accordingly
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and privacy regulations
  • Communicate with staff regarding missing or unclear information on faxes
  • Assist with basic administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous administrative or clerical experience preferred
