ATI Forged Products is seeking a high-impact Weekend Operations Supervisor for our Appleton, WI facility. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this role is responsible for owning and executing weekend operations across NDT Ultrasonic Immersion, machining, quality (CMM), shipping/receiving, and facilities coordination.We are intentionally investing in strong weekend leadership to elevate performance, improve cross-functional execution, and ensure seamless integration with weekday operations and Cudahy counterparts.The selected candidate will lead employees across two shifts, make critical real-time decisions, and set the tone for accountability, urgency, and execution.This is a Friday-Sunday, 12-hour shift role, with responsibility spanning both day and night operations as needed.

  • Ensure the safety of employees on the worksite. Engage with the employees to identify safety hazards and work to eliminate them with the management team, hourly workforce, and EHS.
  • Supervise hourly employees of the weekend crew shifts to assure compliance to customer and ATI specifications.
  • Maintain and train a workforce to perform NDT testing consistent with quality requirements in a cost-effective manner.
  • Coordinate scheduling of manpower and equipment with Department Scheduling dashboards and participation with Production Control at various meetings. Work with other area leaders to maintain equipment preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Assist the NDT Senior Leader in identifying process improvements and capital expenditures which will reduce costs, improve quality, and, in general, enhance ATI Forged Product's competitiveness.
  • Assure compliance to ATI Forged Product's quality requirements through application of ISO 9002/AS9100 systemic procedures and work instructions. In addition, compliance to all customer and NADCAP NDT checklist requirements.
  • Ensure the highest level of safety and good housekeeping in work environment through implementation of the ATI Forged Product's Safety Program and personal example. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations issued by OSHA, EPA, DNR and other federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

Basic Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated experience leading multi-functional teams in a high-mix, high-accountability environment
  • Proven ability to make decisions under pressure and deliver results through others

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong NDT UT experience, immersion systems highly preferred
  • Level II or higher UT certification
  • Aerospace manufacturing experience
  • Experience with CMM inspection and quality systems (AS9100/NADCAP)
  • Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement leadership experience
  • Technical training, journeyman certification, or relevant college coursework
