  • Labor and Delivery: Routine Delivery - Vaginal, Low Forceps, Decision-Making for C-Section, Complicated Delivery - C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, etc., VBAC's, Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations.
  • Gynecology: Surgical Gynecology - Open, Laparoscopic Diagnostic/Minor Only-Tubal Ligation, LOA's, Chromal Tubation, Operative/Major (Includes Diagnostic) - Ectopic Pregnancy, Ovary Removal, Cystectomy, Extensive LOA's.
  • Other: Circumcisions, Emergent GYN cases (e.g., ectopic pregnancy, hemorrhage).
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: Board Certified in OB/GYN
  • Licenses: Active OH License (or willingness to obtain; must have for June/July start)
  • DEA: Active DEA
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS
  • Other Qualifications: Clean malpractice history, Self-Query NPDB report (dated within 30 days of presentation), EPIC EMR proficiency preferred.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide 24-hour in-house laborist coverage from Fri 7a to Mon 7a every other weekend.
  • Manage low and high-risk pregnancies, including vaginal deliveries, C-sections, VBACs, and repair of lacerations.
  • Perform emergent gynecologic procedures, including surgical interventions for ectopic pregnancy, ovarian removal, cystectomy, etc.
  • Conduct circumcisions as needed.
  • Collaborate with L&D nurses and midwives (1 per 12-hr shift), and supervise APP coverage.
