Job Overview

  • Specialty: Oncology with Hematology experience
  • Hospital Location: Findlay, OH
  • Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
  • Start Date: November 2 - April 2027
  • Reason for opening: Physician resignation
  • Summary: An Oncology Locum opportunity provides a mix of outpatient oncology care and inpatient call coverage within a collaborative community oncology and hematology practice.
  • Coverage Details:

    • Preferred coverage of 2 to 4 weeks on-site each month
    • At least 1:4 call and inpatient rounding coverage required
    • Coverage needed beginning November 2026 through at least April 2027
    • Outpatient clinic schedule of 4 to 5 days per week
    • Week of call runs Friday at 8:00 a.m. through the following Friday at 8:00 a.m.
    • Weekend coverage required when participating in the 1:4 call rotation
    • On-site hospital rounding required during call weekends

  • Patient Population:

    • Average daily patient volume: 15 to 20 patients
    • No pediatric patients
    • New and follow-up oncology patients
    • Benign hematology patients

  • Specialty Experience:

    • General community medical oncology
    • Hematology experience

  • Procedures:

    • No procedures required

  • Practice Support:

    • The provider will be supported by:

      • Full-time Registered Nurse (RN)
      • Medical Assistant
      • Chemotherapy-certified RN staff in the infusion clinic


  • Additional Responsibilities:

    • Required attendance at tumor board during on-site working weeks
    • Position is not a sole-provider role
