About 52Launch

52 Launch is a full-service design and technology that takes unique product ideas from concept to market. We partner with entrepreneurs and growing businesses to handle every step: industrial design, sourcing, manufacturing, branding, and marketing; all integrated, all in-house. Our clients come to us because they are ready to execute, and they stay because we deliver. If you're looking for a place where the work is tangible, the team is sharp, and no two projects look the same, you'll find it here.

Position Description

We're looking for a talented and versatile Content Creator to plan, shoot, and produce compelling video and photo content that brings our brand to life. You'll be the creative force behind our visual storytelling — from concept to final edit — helping us engage our audience across social media, web, and marketing channels.

This role is ideal for someone who loves being behind the camera as much as behind the editing software, who can juggle both video and photography with equal skill, and who thrives on producing high volumes of authentic, UGC-style content and professional editing on a consistent basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality photo and video content for social media, website, email, and advertising campaigns. In other words professional styled work.
  • Produce native, authentic-feeling UGC (user-generated content) style videos and photos — including talking-head clips, unboxings, testimonials, and "in-the-moment" style content designed for organic and paid social
  • Consistently deliver multiple pieces of content per week/shoot (e.g., a batch of short-form videos and photos from a single session) to keep up with a fast-paced content calendar for our social media team.
  • Develop creative concepts and storyboards that align with brand voice and marketing goals
  • Manage the full production process: pre-production planning, shooting, editing, color correction, and final delivery for UGC videos and Professional shoot days (multi-camera, lighting control, etc)
  • Capture product photography, lifestyle shoots, behind-the-scenes content, interviews, and event coverage
  • Edit short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) as well as longer-form video projects
  • Repurpose and adapt single shoots into multiple content variations for different platforms and campaigns
  • Maintain and organize a content library/asset archive
  • Stay current on content trends, platform best practices, and emerging tools/techniques
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and social media teams to ensure content supports broader campaigns
  • Manage and maintain camera, lighting, and audio equipment
  • Occasionally travel to shoot locations or events as needed

What success looks like in the first 3-6 months

  • Well-organized content library with properly categorized and accessible photo, video, and creative assets.
  • Consistent and timely delivery of photo and video content that supports the marketing calendar and campaign deadlines.
  • Successful setup and management of professional photo and video productions, including pre-production planning, on-site execution, editing, and final asset delivery.
  • Efficient communication with clients, marketing, design, and social media teams to ensure projects remain on schedule and creative objectives are met.
  • Strong support for marketing campaigns by producing engaging visual content that enhances brand awareness, drives engagement, and improves overall campaign performance.

Schedule Expectations

  • Core on-site days: 5 days per week
  • Evening and weekend availability required for video shoots

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in content creation, videography, or photography (professional and/or strong portfolio-based experience)
  • Proficiency with camera equipment (DSLR/mirrorless), lighting setups, and audio gear
  • Strong editing skills in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Lightroom, and/or Photoshop
  • A strong portfolio or reel demonstrating both video and photography work, including UGC-style content
  • Comfortable being on camera and delivering natural, relatable, on-brand messaging (talking-head style videos) and/or filming others as the subject matter.
  • Understanding of social media content formats and platform-specific best practices (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
  • Ability to consistently produce a high volume of content (multiple videos/photos per shoot or week) without sacrificing quality
  • Strong storytelling instincts and an eye for composition, lighting, and detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with motion graphics or animation (After Effects)
  • Drone photography/videography experience and certification
  • Basic knowledge of paid social ad content req
