Join our team as a Customer Service Representative with United Healthcare in San Juan, PR, and be part of a dynamic call center environment dedicated to making a difference in members' and providers' lives. We are hiring immediately with competitive pay starting at $13.00 - $13.50 per hour, depending on experience, plus the potential for overtime.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional phone support to members and healthcare providers, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed effectively.
Accurately document all interactions and relevant information in computer systems.
Research complex issues across multiple databases to provide informed solutions.
Collaborate with support teams to resolve escalated problems swiftly and efficiently.
Assist customers in navigating UnitedHealth Group websites, empowering them to become more self-sufficient.
Contact healthcare providers on behalf of customers to schedule appointments or connect them with internal specialists as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Prior healthcare experience preferred but not mandatory.
Data entry experience is a plus.
Knowledge of medical or health insurance industry terminology is advantageous.
Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in problem-solving environments or in an office setting using phone and computer as primary tools.
Proficiency in Windows PC navigation and comfortable working across multiple systems.
Bilingual Spanish/English proficiency is required to serve our diverse community effectively.
