Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Back Office Medical Assistant at our Jacksonville, FL clinic. The Back Office Medical Assistant will support the daily clinical operations of the practice, including assisting physicians with patient care, managing medical records, and ensuring the smooth execution of medical office procedures. Responsibilities include preparing patients for exams, managing medical terminology-related tasks, maintaining patient and procedure documentation, and other clinical support duties as needed.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Medical Assisting and Patient Care practices
  • Strong understanding of Medical Terminology and Medical Office procedures
  • Experience in handling Medical Records and clinical documentation
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact compassionately with patients and colleagues
  • Familiarity with podiatry or orthopedic care is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in Medical Assisting or related areas are preferred
