Job description

Total Aviation Staffing is hiring a Senior Charter Broker for our client, a growing aviation services company expanding its private charter brokerage operations.

This is a strong opportunity for an experienced charter broker or private aviation sales professional who wants to take ownership of a growing business line. In this role, you will help build and scale the charter brokerage function, drive new charter revenue, develop client relationships, source aircraft through vetted Part 135 operators, and manage charter trips from inquiry through completion.

If you have a strong private aviation network, experience working with high-net-worth clients, and the ability to turn relationships into repeat charter revenue, this is the kind of role where you can actually put your book of business to work.

What You’ll Do

As the Senior Charter Broker, you will be responsible for growing charter revenue, managing client relationships, coordinating trip requests, and supporting the buildout of the company’s charter brokerage process.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Build and grow a strong book of business through consistent outreach to qualified prospects, partners, operators, and private aviation clients.
  • Follow up quickly on inbound leads, charter quote requests, referrals, and warm introductions.
  • Drive new charter revenue and repeat bookings through strong client service and proactive sales activity.
  • Maintain and manage a healthy sales pipeline, with a target of building a strong 3x pipeline.
  • Qualify prospects and move opportunities through the HubSpot sales pipeline with accurate tracking and follow-through.
  • Source aircraft through vetted Part 135 operators based on client needs, safety standards, availability, and trip requirements.
  • Negotiate pricing, manage margin, and coordinate trip details from start to finish.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout each charter inquiry, quote, booking, and flight execution.
  • Prepare and manage charter broker documentation, including agreements, trip records, and required documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable charter brokerage requirements, including 14 CFR Part 295 where required.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define, improve, and standardize the charter brokerage process.
  • Use approved marketing and sales materials consistently while providing feedback to improve client and operator engagement.
  • Support business development through strategic partnerships, events, targeted outreach, and relationship-building.
  • Maintain strong service standards, clear communication, and a high level of responsiveness with clients and operators.
What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is a proven private aviation sales professional who knows how to build relationships, close charter business, manage complex requests, and deliver a high-touch client experience.

This role requires someone who is entrepreneurial, responsive, organized, and comfortable operating with autonomy. You should be able to manage client expectations, coordinate with operators, protect margin, and stay calm when trip requests move fast — because in charter, “urgent” is basically the default setting.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Part 135 charter brokerage, private aviation sales, aircraft charter sales, or complex luxury travel sales for high-net-worth clients.
  • Existing book of business, private aviation network, or relationship base that can be expanded and activated.
  • Proven ability to acquire clients, manage charter requests, and move opportunities through a sales pipeline.
  • Experience using CRM systems; HubSpot experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare professional quotes, proposals, client updates, and operator communications.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple trip requests and sales opportunities at once.
  • High level of responsiveness, including flexibility for evening, weekend, and urgent client needs.
  • Strong ownership mindset and commitment to safety, service excellence, honesty, and client trust.
Strongly Preferred Qualifications
  • Direct experience in Part 135 charter brokerage.
  • Working knowledge of 14 CFR Part 295 charter broker requirements.
  • Residency in the metro Atlanta area with the ability to attend on-site meetings and collaborate near KLZU.
  • Familiarity with aircraft sourcing platforms and private aviation safety standards such as ARGUS, WYVERN, and IS-BAO.
  • Established relationships with Southeast Part 135 operators, aircraft owners, charter clients, brokers, and private aviation stakeholders.
  • Aviation credentials such as an FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate, private pilot certificate, or other aviation-related certification.
  • Experience supporting charter operations, aircraft management, MRO, or private aviation services.
Why This Role Stands Out

This is not just another broker seat. This is an opportunity to help build and grow a charter brokerage operation inside a growing aviation services company.

This role offers:

  • Competitive base salary
  • Uncapped commission opportunity
  • Strong earning potential tied to client activation and charter revenue growth
  • Opportunity to build and shape a growing charter brokerage business line
  • Autonomy to leverage your network and sales experience
  • Access to a broader aviation services platform
  • Standard benefits package, including medical, dental, and 401(k)

If you are an experienced Senior Charter Broker, Private Aviation Sales Executive, Aircraft Charter Broker, or Part 135 Charter Sales Professional with a strong client network and the drive to grow a serious book of business, we encourage you to apply today.
