About Us
Worldwide Jet is a Premier on-demand FAA Part 135 private charter operator. We operate year-round and have an unwavering commitment to deliver an exceptional first-class experience to travelers and charter brokers alike, all with the highest levels of safety. We own our entire fleet of aircraft consisting of Challenger 601's,Challenger 605, Gulfstream IVSP's / G300, and a Global Express.
What is the schedule?
The schedule for this position is 7:00am to 3:30pm
Is this a remote position?
This is not a remote position. Candidates will report for duty at our Phoenix (Deer Valley) AZ office.
Position Summary
The Assistant Aircraft Maintenance Controller supports Maintenance Control by coordinating aircraft maintenance activities and ensuring accurate tracking of aircraft status. This role is key to maintaining fleet readiness, regulatory compliance, and seamless flight operations.
Schedule
  • 1st and 2nd shift availability required
  • Must be flexible to support weekends and operational demands

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to minimize aircraft downtime
  • Monitor real-time aircraft status and update maintenance tracking systems
  • Serve as a communication link between maintenance technicians, operations, and vendors
  • Track aircraft discrepancies and support timely resolution
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, records, and documentation
  • Assist with parts coordination and repair logistics
  • Support compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures

Required Qualifications
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License - Required
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of aviation maintenance or operations experience preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
  • Valid US Passport
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening, background check, credit check, DMV check with valid driver's license, and employment verification.
