Locum Hematology-Oncology Physician – Coos Bay, OR

What You'll Do

  • Provide outpatient hematology and oncology consultations at a free-standing cancer center
  • Perform tasks and procedures within your training and licensure
  • Collaborate with a team of 3 physicians, 2 advanced practice providers, and radiation oncologists
  • Manage 10-15 outpatient patients daily, with inpatient consults as needed
  • Participate in call rotation (1:4), including 7 days of call, one weekend
  • Document patient encounters in EPIC EMR system accurately and timely
  • Assist with timely diagnosis and treatment planning for solid tumor cases

What You Need

Required:
  • Active medical license in Oregon
  • Board certification or eligibility in Hematology and Oncology
  • At least 2 years of experience in hematology and oncology settings
  • Ability to perform procedures consistent with training and licensure
Preferred:
  • Prior outpatient cancer center experience
  • EMR experience with EPIC system
