What You’ll Do

The Resident Care/Staffing Coordinator is responsible for providing oversight of the daily functioning of resident care and staffing needs of the elders within the community under the direction of the Administrator and Wellness Director. The responsibilities include scheduling, coaching, and training the Care Partners and the medication passer/techs and scheduling coverage for shifts as well as working open shifts.

As a Resident Care/Staffing Coordinator, you can expect a range of responsibilities and tasks.

Here are some general expectations:

  • You will be responsible for training, scheduling, supervising overall duties in directing the work of team members under the leadership of the Wellness Director.
  • You will participate in the interviewing/hiring process of Care Partners and Med Techs.
  • You will assist the Administrator Wellness Director in adjusting staffing levels based on fluctuating occupancy and level of care.
  • You will assist elders with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed linens, positioning, transfer, mobility, and incontinence care.
  • You may assist with and document medications under the supervision of the Wellness Director.

  • You will bring experience working as a Care Partner and Medication Tech previously.
  • You will bring computer literacy, savvy in social media, and proficiency in learning specified online programs.
  • You will bring good verbal communication and the ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers who only speak English.
  • You will meet all health requirements as specified by state and federal regulations.
  • You will be able to perform duties and responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • You will be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • You will have the ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodation.
