Job Description

As a Website Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving success and innovation. Our work depends on a Website Operations Specialist joining our team to manage workflow and operational procedures to optimize productivity for a team managing multiple news websites and affiliated social media accounts. You will ensure operational efficiency, maintain accuracy in tracking systems, and support multilingual website operations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.

HOW A WEBSITE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Manages workflow and operational procedures to optimize productivity for a team managing multiple news websites and affiliated social media accounts.

  • Maintains and updates operational trackers with a focus on accuracy.

  • Manages and coordinates translation workflow tasks in support of multilingual websites.

  • Monitors performance analytics to support reports documenting websites and social media performance.

  • Maintains and updates editorial calendars to ensure content is published accurately and on time.

WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; significant experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience with online publishing and content management.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience with content management systems, scheduling tools, SEO, and social media platforms.

  • Strong English writing and editing skills.

  • Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.

  • Ability to quickly learn the functionality of new tools and technologies.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.

Clearance: Active DoD Secret clearance required
