Under the general supervision of the Assistant Athletic Director for Ticket Operations, serve as a Ticket Operations Coordinator in the Wisconsin Athletics Ticket Office. Work with the Assistant Athletic Director for Ticket Operations, Assistant Ticket Directors, Business Office and Development Office to manage donation and season ticket invoicing for all UW Sports. Work performed will primarily include the following:

  • Manage invoicing and payment processing for season ticket orders across all sports
  • Manage and process season ticket transfers (FB, MBB, MHKY, WBB, WHKY, VB and WR)
  • Work athletic events as needed for the Athletic Ticket Office
  • Act as Lead Customer Service Representative by answering phones and emails
  • Lead Ticketing Supervisor for the sport of Softball
Key Job Responsibilities:
  • May monitor the budget and approve expenditures
  • May exercise supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 FTE or equivalent employees
  • Confers with event sponsors concerning ticket needs, prepares and supervises the mailing of ticket information, solves problems, maintains control of money and tickets, and prepares audit statements

Compensation:

The minimum starting salary will be $57,795, depending on qualifications and experience. There may be some flexibility for highly qualified candidates.

Required Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in office administration and customer service
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Previous experience with digital ticketing software-Paciolan, Ticketmaster
  • Ability to work nights and weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong Time management and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers and staff
  • Previous work experience in an athletics environment
Education:

Bachelor's degree required
