We are hiring a DevOps Manager to join our team remotely!
Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, and Infrastructure Automation teams.
  • Define and execute the organization's DevOps and cloud platform strategy.
  • Drive enterprise automation initiatives that reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
  • Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines across multiple development teams.
  • Establish and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards utilizing Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or similar technologies.
  • Partner with software engineering, architecture, security, and operations teams to streamline software delivery and improve platform capabilities.
  • Lead cloud infrastructure initiatives focused on scalability, resilience, security, and performance within Azure environments.
  • Oversee source control and release management best practices utilizing Git-based workflows.
  • Implement monitoring, observability, and reliability practices supporting SRE principles and operational excellence.
  • Drive containerization, orchestration, and cloud-native adoption efforts utilizing technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Establish KPIs and metrics around deployment frequency, lead time, change failure rate, system availability, and platform adoption.
  • Identify opportunities to improve developer experience through self-service platforms, automation, and tooling enhancements.
  • Manage roadmap planning, technical prioritization, and resource allocation across DevOps initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Previous experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Automation, or Site Reliability Engineering positions.
  • Current experience leading technical teams focused on DevOps, Automation Engineering, Platform Engineering, or SRE.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
  • Deep experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab, or similar platforms.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
