Job description

DevOps Manager

This role involves leading a team of DevOps professionals to maintain and execute organizational policies and procedures for change management, configuration management, release and deployment management, service monitoring, support, and problem management across all major cloud providers – AWS, GCP, and Azure. The position operates on a Tuesday through Saturday shift.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of o9 platform deployment and technical operations.
  • Manage global DevOps team, assigning and monitoring work tasks and ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Hire and grow DevOps talent.
  • Lead, plan, build, configure, test, and deploy DevOps solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers to manage o9 platform deployment, maintenance and support needs.
  • Promote DevOps strategies and implementation goals.
  • Develop and deploy best-in-class automation to efficiently manage o9 platform deployments.
  • Analyze and approve code and configuration changes.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Management experience: 6+ years of experience building and leading high‑performing diverse teams as a DevOps manager or Software Development Manager.
  • 5-15 years of experience in a DevOps role, including performance tuning, conducting application upgrades, patches, and supporting continuous integration and deployment tooling.
  • 3 years of experience with Docker or similar containerization technologies.
  • 2 years of experience with Kubernetes or similar orchestration platforms.
  • Experience with monitoring stacks such as ELK, Prometheus, Datadog, Dynatrace, or New Relic.
Skills
  • Proficient with Cloud Operations (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Experience with Jenkins or similar CI/CD technologies.
  • Proficiency with Ansible, Terraform.
  • Administration of databases (MS SQL, MongoDB).
  • Strong decision‑making, problem‑solving, critical thinking, and testing skills.
  • Ability to deliver independently and translate requirements into technical solutions with minimal supervision.
  • Ability and flexibility to work with teams globally across time zones.
Salary and Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is $169,793–$233,466. Candidates may be eligible to participate in medical, retirement, and other company‑sponsored benefits.
