What You Will Be Doing
  • Providing direct, high-visibility floor leadership to a skilled team of 25–30 hourly production employees within a unionized web coating and converting environment
  • Commanding shift-level production schedules, ensuring rigorous quality controls are upheld, and maintaining absolute safety compliance on the floor
  • Overseeing complex in-process quality audits, managing technical documentation, and coordinating swift corrective actions with our internal Technical Department
  • Partnering closely with the Maintenance crew to maximize equipment reliability, executing work orders, and facilitating routine preventive maintenance windows
  • Managing operational shift logistics, including tracking attendance, optimizing daily personnel moves, coordinating job assignments, and verifying training requirements
  • Utilizing corporate ERP software systems to log real-time production numbers, drive inventory accuracy, and maintain shift-to-shift documentation
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, and specialized Technical teams to pioneer process upgrades, minimize cost, and launch new product lines
What We Are Looking For
  • Seasoned Leadership Core: 5 to 10 years of verifiable supervisory or production leadership experience in a fast-paced, heavy manufacturing plant setting.
  • Union Environment Fluency: Prior experience managing a unionized workforce. Direct experience interpreting collective bargaining agreements and handling contract administration is a massive advantage.
  • Operational Multitasking: Exceptional organizational skills with a proven track record of balancing safety, throughput, and scrap reduction simultaneously on a rapid production floor.
  • Computer & Systems Literacy: Strong proficiency with everyday Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook), along with prior exposure utilizing enterprise ERP software platforms.

  • Schedule Commitment: Full alignment and flexibility to work a rotating 12-hour day/night shift structure, including alternating weekends.
