Job Summary

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating supply chain operations, ensuring timely delivery of products, and supporting accurate shipment reporting. This role coordinates closely with carriers, warehouses, suppliers, and internal teams to support daily transportation operations, including scheduling, tracking, and issue resolution. The Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in system-related troubleshooting, identifying and resolving issues within the ERP platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound shipments with carriers, warehouses, and suppliers
  • Communicate proactively with internal teams and external partners when issues arise
  • Manage in-transit damage and loss claims
  • Track and report on service failure trends, KPIs, and carrier performance metrics
  • Troubleshoot system issues related to order processing, shipping errors, or inventory discrepancies
  • Support system testing, upgrades, and new process implementations
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for both logistics processes and system workflows
  • Assist in freight audits and invoice validation
  • Monitor freight costs and identify savings opportunities
