Health Care Operations Manager
Innovative Care Services has an opening for an Operations Manager. This role will oversee operations at 6 Wisconsin State Licensed Community Based Residential Facilities (CBRF) and Adult Family Homes (AFH) programs/facilities.
Operations Managers provide operational, personnel, and budget support to all programs within their assigned units. Operations Managers work to ensure overall compliance with federal, state, county, and funding organizations’ standards. These positions are responsible for onboarding, training, and direct supervision of assigned Program Managers. This is a 24 hour on call position. A reliable vehicle with appropriate state insurance is required. This position requires weekly travel to assigned programs and other statewide travel as assigned.

Innovative Services started in 2004 with the vision to give those with developmental disabilities the best quality of life in their community. We continue to grow throughout the state of Wisconsin and have expanded our supports to people of all ages with varying needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Must be available on a 24-hour basis, via phone or in person as needed, to respond to emergency situations.
  • Provide direct supervision, onboarding, and training of assigned Program Managers.
  • Provide interim Program Manager support.
  • Ensure all program related tasks are completed including billing, payroll, scheduling, training, etc.
  • Work collaboratively to evaluate program efficiencies and advocate for/implement updates and enhancements as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Director based on financial reporting, budgets, and contractual obligations to develop strategies that work to minimize risk and promote the company’s financial sustainability.
  • Develop and maintain relationships in the community that are necessary to promote and capitalize positive relations with our organization.
  • Ensure all internal and external quality standards are being met.
  • Implement business unit best practices and provide frequent quality and compliance checks as it relates to service implementation, medications, program finances, client charting, incident reporting, etc.
  • Attend business unit safety meetings to determine trends and learn best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with the Operations Director to best utilize operational resources including float staff, system specialists, and enabling technology.
  • Support Program Managers with scheduling and floor coverage as needed utilizing all business unit resources available.
  • Provide direct floor support if/when needed.
  • Support quality and sentinel event investigations as needed. Implementing needed resolutions in a timely manner.
  • Provide conflict resolution support to Program Managers when dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma/GED.
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience.
  • Minimum two years supervisory experience.
Wage Details:
  • This is an Exempt/Salaried position/40 hours per week.
  • Salary range - $55,000 - $65,000 based on experience.
