Position Overview

A leading luxury furniture and home staging company in South Gate is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to support inventory accuracy and day-to-day warehouse operations. This is an urgent temp-to-hire opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with inventory systems, and able to coordinate effectively with warehouse and operations teams.

The Inventory Control Coordinator will work onsite within the company's multi-floor warehouse facility and help ensure furniture, dcor, and other inventory is accurately tracked and accounted for as it moves throughout the operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory tracking.
  • Verify inventory quantities, locations, and item information.
  • Research and help resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counts as needed.
  • Update inventory information accurately in company systems.
  • Coordinate with warehouse personnel regarding inventory movement and product locations.
  • Assist with locating missing or incorrectly assigned inventory.
  • Maintain organized and accurate inventory documentation.
  • Communicate inventory issues or discrepancies to the appropriate team members.
  • Follow established warehouse, inventory control, and safety procedures.



Qualifications

  • Previous inventory control, warehouse, logistics, shipping/receiving, or related experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Comfortable working with computers, scanners, and inventory tracking systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work the full 8:00 AM-4:30 PM schedule.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Compensation & Opportunity

$20-$21/hour, depending on experience.
