Inventory Coordinator:
The Inventory Coordinator is a vital role for ensuring the smooth operation of inventory management. This position is primarily responsible for monitoring and managing inventory levels, which involves conducting regular physical counts, reconciling discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records of stock. The Inventory Coordinator collaborates with various departments, such as purchasing, receiving, production and material handling, to ensure that materials are available to meet production demands while avoiding overstock and stockout situations. Furthermore, the Inventory Coordinator implements inventory control procedures to optimize efficiency and minimize waste and prepares reports on inventory status for management review. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about problem-solving and committed to making data-driven, quality decisions. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer generated reports.
  • Facilitate and provide feedback to all team members on how to improve inventory management.
  • Monthly planning of FG stocking levels.
  • Systematically process product returns.
  • Ensures all products in inventory are properly labeled and locations are accurate.
  • Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and logistics.
  • Develop and implement efficient inventory management procedures.
  • Monitors and recommends solutions for obsolete, unusable, and over-stocked inventory.
  • Prepare monthly reports for cycle counts.
  • Prepare and participate in yearly physical inventory.
  • Cross train and provide support production planning activities.
  • Cross train and provide support in purchasing activities.
  • Tracks purchase orders and investigates problems, as needed.
  • Assist in reconciling VMI/consigned inventory.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
