What we need:


Natco Home is seeking a highly motivated Purchasing and Inventory Intern to join our Supply Chain team at our corporate headquarters in West Warwick, RI. This internship is ideal for a senior-level undergraduate student, graduate student, or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Logistics, or a related field. You'll gain valuable experience supporting purchasing operations, managing reports, working with inventory data, and collaborating with teams across the company.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to learn how products move from suppliers to customers while developing the professional and technical skills needed for a successful career in supply chain, purchasing, or operations.

What you’ll do:


  • Create and process purchase orders while maintaining accurate records
  • Assist with tracking incoming orders, shipments, and delivery schedules
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly purchasing and inventory reports
  • Work in Excel to organize data, update spreadsheets, and maintain reporting tools
  • Support inventory management activities by updating information and monitoring stock levels
  • Review purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documents for accuracy
  • Communicate with suppliers and internal teams regarding order status and updates
  • Assist with data entry and maintain accurate records in Power Link
  • Collaborate with Purchasing, Sales, Logistics, and Warehouse teams
  • Support special projects and process improvement initiatives as needed


What you’ll have:


  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, Operations, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skills
  • Experience working with databases, ERP systems, or business software is a plus
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical, math, and problem-solving skills
  • Interest in learning about purchasing, inventory management, and supply chain operations
