About the Role
  • Review daily report from Dyson Service Centers to identify returns received
  • Identify and resolve return discrepancies
  • Aid with cycle count research to identify root causes of inventory overages and shortages and support timely resolution
  • Perform research in SAP ERP and CRM for unidentified returns in order to determine proper resolution of customer credit
  • Provide daily reporting to management of return processing status
  • Support Dyson Service Center (DSC) inventory activity, including plant-to-plant transfers between service centers to balance inventory and support operational needs
  • Execute and monitor SAP stock movements related to DSC transfers, scrap disposition, and inventory adjustments
  • Support the month end close process relating to various inventory transactions
  • Ensure all DSC inventory transactions are properly documented, reconciled, and closed in SAP
  • Build and maintain a strong relationship with third party warehouses; effectively communicate to ensure processes are being followed and speed of resolution
  • Collaborate cross functionally to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Be an organized, detail-oriented individual to ensure all open items are closed out
  • When little information is available, thrive on performing research and digging into systems/reports to find the answer
  • Partner with Dyson Service Centers and third-party warehouses to investigate discrepancies and ensure accurate inventory records
  • Develop and recommend improvements to current operating procedures
  • Relish the opportunity to pick up new activities that fall broadly in the purpose of the role
  • Special projects and ad hoc analysis as required
About You
  • 2+ year's experience in a corporate environment with specific experience in inventory or supply chain strongly preferred
  • SAP experience requires
  • Experience with Salesforce strongly preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge/proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
  • Ability to review and collate large amounts of data
  • Organized with the ability to multi-task and circle back on open items
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Speed in processing SAP transactions while maintaining accuracy
  • Demonstrate follow-through capabilities
  • Commitment to hitting deadlines
  • Self motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to deliver projects in full, on time and to the highest quality
