Job description

Summary
Supervise and support daily inventory operations across assigned shifts and sites, including all material issuance, material receipt, inventory transactions, inventory control, and physical inventory activities. Responsible for overseeing Inventory Clerks' daily operations, ensuring inventory accuracy, supporting department shift/site management, resolving operational issues, coordinating inventory-related tasks, and maintaining compliance with company inventory procedures and material handling requirements. Ensure smooth communication and coordination between shifts, production, warehouse, and management teams while supporting operational efficiency and inventory control objectives.
Job Duties
  • Supervise and support all Goods Issue (GI) and Goods Receipt (GR) transactions to ensure timely and accurate inventory processing.
  • Manage and coordinate daily inventory operations for assigned shifts and/or sites.
  • Lead and support Inventory Clerks in daily inventory activities and operational execution.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and support monthly cycle counts and annual physical inventory audits.
  • Support inventory transactions, material tracking, and inventory control activities using SAP/MES inventory modules.
  • Coordinate inventory-related tasks, work force arrangement, and shift operational support based on business needs.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies, operational issues, and transaction errors, and provide corrective actions and problem-solving support.
  • Ensure inventory materials are properly stored, handled, and maintained in compliance with company procedures and storage requirements.
  • Maintain inventory floor organization, storage conditions, and safety compliance.
  • Support communication and coordination between production, warehouse, planning, and management teams.
  • Assist management in implementing inventory process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Report operational status, concerns, risks, and issues to Section Manager or higher management in a timely manner.

Job Requirements
  • Education
    • Associate degree or above preferred
  • Experience:
    • 3 years of inventory or warehouse operations experience preferred
    • 1-2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
    • Experience with electronic parts/components inventory management preferred
    • Ability to support multi-shift and multi-site operations preferred
    • Ability to handle electronic parts and inventory materials properly
    • Microsoft Office proficiency required
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Strong problem-solving and coordination ability
    • Detail-oriented with strong inventory control awareness

Work Schedule
This position supports multi-shift, multi-location operations.
Candidates may choose or be assigned to one of the following shifts based on business needs:
1st Shift: 7AM - 4 PM
2nd Shift: 1 PM - 10 PM
3rd Shift: 10 PM - 7 AM
Shift assignments, overtime, weekend work, and schedule changes may be required based on operational needs.
