What You Will Do
The IT Operations Director leads Trumark’s IT operations function, ensuring enterprise applications, core banking platforms, and end-user technology services operate reliably, securely, and efficiently. This role guides the IT operations team while maintaining the stability and performance of the systems that support daily operations across the credit union.

Success in this role requires strong operational leadership, effective vendor and service management, and the ability to continuously improve service delivery. The Director works closely with IT leaders and business partners across the organization to maintain system availability, manage risk, and support technology initiatives that help Trumark scale and operate effectively.

You will:
• Lead the daily operations of the IT operations team and establish clear expectations and accountability.
• Ensure the availability, performance, and operational readiness of core banking systems, enterprise applications, and vendor-hosted platforms.
• Manage application support, upgrades, releases, conversions, and integrations while minimizing disruption to the business.
• Operate the IT Service Desk and end-user support services to meet defined service level targets.
• Monitor service metrics, analyze trends, and implement improvements that strengthen system reliability and user support.
• Coordinate incident escalation across internal teams and vendors to restore service within defined service levels.
• Administer enterprise change and release processes to ensure proper risk assessment, testing, and communication before deployment.
• Maintain application recovery strategies and continuity plans aligned with regulatory expectations and business needs.
• Execute disaster recovery and continuity testing and address any identified gaps.
• Manage vendor performance against contractual service agreements and support vendor selection and renewal decisions.
• Develop and manage budgets and forecasts for application support, service delivery, and vendor services.
• Implement automation and process improvements that increase efficiency and improve operational visibility.
• Develop team capability through coaching, cross-training, and succession planning.
• Advise business leaders on application stability, service levels, and operational risks.
• Support audits, regulatory exams, and risk assessments by providing documentation and remediation plans.
• Communicate operational performance, incidents, and risks to executive and non-technical stakeholders.

What You Bring to the Table
Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field required.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Experience

• Ten or more years of experience in information technology.
• Five or more years of leadership experience managing technical teams.
• Experience managing enterprise applications, vendor platforms, and service delivery environments.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, and technology service delivery.
• Understanding of banking systems, operational processes, and regulatory considerations.
