Job Description Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Executive Recruiter to lead critical senior-level hiring across both technical and non-technical disciplines. In this role, you will own the full-lifecycle search strategy for a broad range of leadership positions including Director, Senior Director, Vice President, Senior Vice President, and C-suite roles spanning functions such as Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations. In addition to executive search, you will manage full end-to-end recruiting for our Legal and Finance functions, partnering closely with the General Counsel and Chief Financial Officer to build and scale these teams across all levels, from individual contributors to senior leadership. You will collaborate directly with hiring managers and senior leadership to identify, attract and hire exceptional talent who will drive innovation, build high-performing teams, and shape the future of our organization within the education technology and digital learning landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Executive Search Leadership: Design and execute end-to-end recruitment strategies for VP and C-level roles across technical (Engineering, Product, Data/AI) and non-technical (GTM, Finance, Operations, Strategy) functions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives and senior leaders, offering market insights, compensation benchmarking, and talent mapping.
  • Pipeline & Sourcing Strategy: Leverage deep industry networks, passive candidate outreach, and inclusive recruiting channels to build robust, diverse executive candidate slates.
  • Candidate Experience & Negotiation: Lead high-touch candidate engagement from initial outreach through offer creation, equity structuring, and closing complex executive compensation packages.
  • Market Intelligence: Track industry trends, competitor moves, and executive talent movements across the EdTech, SaaS, and broader technology sectors.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience: 7+ years of dedicated full-lifecycle recruitment experience, with a minimum of 3+ years specifically focused on in-house or agency executive search (VP level and above).
  • Domain Expertise: Demonstrated track record of recruiting senior leaders within the Education Technology (EdTech) sector or closely aligned tech-enabled consumer/enterprise industries (e.g., Enterprise SaaS, HealthTech, HRTech).
  • Functional Scope: Proven experience successfully placing senior executives across both technical (Engineering, Product Management, Data) and non-technical (Sales, Marketing, People, Operations and Finance) disciplines.
  • Executive Presence: High-level influence and communication skills with a history of advising C-suite executives and board-level stakeholders.
  • Offer Structuring: Strong knowledge of complex executive compensation packages, including executive bonuses, equity structures, and retention strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Systems & Analytics: Hands-on experience with Ashby ATS or proficiency in building custom recruitment dashboards, reporting metrics, and talent analytics to track search performance. Experience with Workday is a plus.
  • Inclusive Sourcing: Proven track record of designing and executing inclusive hiring strategies that expand network reach and reduce bias across every stage of the executive search process.
  • Blended Background: Prior experience combining both top-tier executive search firm (agency) and in-house corporate executive recruiting experience.
  • Scale Experience: Background managing executive hires in high-growth, venture-backed, or private equity-owned technology companies through key scaling milestones.
  • Networks: Existing, active network of senior VP+ talent across EdTech, digital learning, and high-growth SaaS environments.
