Headquartered in Carrollton, Texas, TurboChef Technologies and CookTek are leading food service manufacturers dedicated to simplifying life through innovation by creating cooking solutions that provide chef-quality food across diverse settings such as restaurants, corporate dining, healthcare, and education facilities worldwide.


We are looking for a talented and experienced individual to join our sales team as the Regional Vice President and Corporate Chef for both of our brands, with the position residing in either Texas, California or Nevada. This position will play a critical role in leading our sales growth initiatives in what is referred to as MAFSI Regions. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who thinks strategically, takes ownership, and understands how to drive sales through developing new business with a hunter mentality. This person naturally resonates with our core values of Get it Done, Ownership, Family, Creative, and Growth Minded.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and execute strategic plans for business growth and brand expansion within the regions listed.
  • Identify NEW sales opportunities including but not limited to regional chains, healthcare, schools, and independent foodservice operations.ย 
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers, consultants, and dealers to drive sales and increase market share year over year.
  • Oversee and manage two (2) manufacturer rep partners, providing guidance, support, and leadership to achieve sales targets and objectives within the territory of combined sales over $25M.
  • Attend regional events and national trade shows where needed.
  • Drive innovation and excellence through menu ideation, chef training, and culinary sales demonstrations.
  • Reports to SVP Global Sales and Marketing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Business or Culinary Arts. Culinary experience preferred but not mandatory.ย 
  • Minimum 7 years' experience.
  • Proven experience in a senior sales or food service leadership role within the food service equipment manufacturing or food broker industry.
  • Proficiency in Sales CRM system.
  • Track record of increased year-over-year sales growth.
  • Strong industry relationships.
  • Approximately 40 - 50% travel.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and lead partners.
  • A passion for culinary excellence and innovation, with a strong understanding of the food service industry and a willingness to have fun!
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
