BSNB is seeking an experienced VP, Commercial Relationship Manager to expand existing commercial relationships, develop new business, and manage commercial loan and commercial real estate loan portfolios!

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE VP, COMMERCIAL RELATIONSHIP MANAGER

As a VP, Commercial Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships, analyzing clients' financial and operating strategies, and recommending loans and banking products, with a focus on Commercial & Industrial (C&I) relationships. You will be responsible for growing a commercial portfolio through building new customer relationships and meeting or exceeding annual sales, revenue and volume objectives. You will gather financial and general business information on commercial clients and explain Bank products and services. You will also coordinate financial analyses in order to make credit decisions and provide input on loan decisions based on the evaluation of credit risk and other key factors.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE VP, COMMERCIAL RELATIONSHIP MANAGER
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related field required, Master's degree preferred;
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial lending with a demonstrated ability to assess credit risk and structure and negotiate loan terms;
  • Must have a track record of prospecting new business and enhancing existing relationships;
  • Must have strong negotiating, sales and relationship building skills coupled with strong credit and financial analysis skills;
  • Well-developed communication skills are a must;
  • Membership in civic and professional organizations preferred.
