ABOUT THE POSITION

prAna is a purpose-driven lifestyle brand rooted in movement, mindfulness, and connection to the outdoors. We create versatile, sustainable apparel designed for individuals who live actively and intentionally. As we continue to evolve and grow, we are seeking a transformational sales leader to accelerate our wholesale business and strengthen our position in the marketplace.

The Vice President of Sales will lead prAna's North American Wholesale business, developing and executing a growth strategy that expands distribution, deepens strategic account partnerships, and drives profitable revenue growth. Reporting directly to the President, this leader will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, helping shape brand strategy, influence product and marketplace decisions, and ensure strong cross-functional alignment across Sales, Merchandising, Product Creation, Planning, Marketing, and DTC.

This role requires a leader who combines strategic thinking with commercial execution, builds high-performing teams, and thrives in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate brings deep wholesale apparel experience, exceptional relationship-building skills, strong business acumen, and a passion for creating winning outcomes for consumers, customers, and the brand.

Drive Wholesale Growth Strategy

Develop, simplify and execute a multi-year wholesale growth strategy that supports prAna's long-range business objectives and strengthens the brand's market position.Identify new growth opportunities across channels, accounts, and consumer segments while ensuring alignment with brand equity and distribution principles.

Build Strategic Customer Partnerships

Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with key wholesale partners, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic business partner.Lead annual business planning, joint growth initiatives, and long-term account strategies that create mutual value and strengthen market presence.Negotiate and secure strategic opportunities that advance prAna's business objectives and consumer reach.

Influence Brand and Product Strategy

Serve as the voice of the marketplace and customer within the organization by partnering closely with Product, Merchandising, Planning, Marketing, and DTC teams to influence product assortments, seasonal strategies, and go-to-market plans.

Lead a High-Performing Team

YOU HAVE

  • 15+ years of progressive sales leadership experience within the apparel, active, outdoor, or lifestyle industry.
  • Proven success leading and growing wholesale businesses with national accounts, specialty retailers, and strategic distribution partners.
  • Deep understanding of apparel merchandising, product creation, marketplace dynamics, and wholesale business models.
  • Demonstrated experience developing long-range business strategies and translating them into measurable results.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience leading teams through growth, change, and organizational transformation.
  • Strong financial acumen, including forecasting, planning, and profitability management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
