Job description

Title: Windows Server Engineer

Location: Plano, TX (Must work onsite 3 days per week)

Duration: 18 month contract with likely conversion to FTE

Must work on direct W2 (NO C2C)

Position Summary

We are seeking a Windows Infrastructure Automation Engineer to help modernize and automate enterprise Windows server platforms. This role focuses on engineering and automation initiatives, including automated image creation, OS deployment, patch management, infrastructure remediation, and platform standardization. This is not a traditional operational support role.

Top Skills:

  • 5+ years of Windows Server engineering experience.
  • Strong expertise with Windows Server technologies, including current enterprise versions.
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
  • Experience building images with Packer.
  • Experience developing and supporting Jenkins pipelines.
  • Familiarity with GitHub and/or Bitbucket.
  • Experience supporting VMware infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of Windows patching, server lifecycle management, and operating systems engineering.
  • Experience working within Agile and DevOps environments.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plano, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.24 - $70.24/hr.
