Volunteers help with troubleshooting, installing software, setting up hardware, and providing basic IT support either in person, over the phone, or online. This position is a great way to gain hands-on IT experience, develop customer service skills, and give back to the community. While the work is unpaid, it can be highly rewarding and can also help build a resume for future tech positions.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a volunteer IT help desk?
