Tax Manager

What You'll Do
-Manage tax engagements for a diverse portfolio of individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, and nonprofit organizations.
-Review complex federal and state tax returns for accuracy and compliance.
-Provide proactive tax planning and consulting to help clients achieve their financial goals.
-Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building trusted long-term relationships.
-Research complex tax issues and communicate recommendations clearly.
-Mentor, train, and develop tax staff and seniors while reviewing their work.
-Manage multiple deadlines and ensure projects are completed efficiently and accurately.
-Assist with tax notices, audits, and other client tax matters.
-Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to the firm's continued growth.
Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
-CPA license required.
-5+ years of recent public accounting tax experience.
-Prior experience reviewing tax returns and supervising staff.
-Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
-Excellent communication, organization, and client service skills.
-Experience with tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
-Ability to manage multiple engagements while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
