A growing manufacturing company in the Chilton, WI area is seeking an organized, dependable Office Manager / Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting, office administration, customer communication, vendor coordination, and business operations.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, staying organized, solving problems, and helping a small business run smoothly.
Responsibilities
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable
Assist with invoicing, purchase orders, quotes, and vendor communication
Track financial information, cash flow, and basic reporting
Coordinate with outside accounting/CPA partners
Manage daily office operations and administrative tasks
Maintain organized records, files, and documentation
Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal team members
Help improve office processes, workflows, and systems
Support ownership with special projects and business needs
Qualifications
Previous bookkeeping, accounting, office management, or administrative experience
Experience with accounting software and spreadsheets
Strong Excel skills preferred
Strong organization, communication, and follow-through
Ability to multitask and prioritize
High attention to detail
Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-moving environment
Manufacturing or small business experience preferred but not required
Schedule
Monday through Friday
Preferred hours: 6:00 AM-2:30 PM or 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
Some flexibility may be available for the right candidate
