(NTD) organization will be responsible for supporting and expanding our IT infrastructure services and applications for our development community. This role is part of our IT organization and will work closely with DevOps and Engineering teams. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES Installs and supports internally developed systems and third-party licensed software Configures servers and operating systems for performance, recoverability and availability Monitors and resolves hardware, software, and networking issues in a timely manner Performs routine system upgrades, patching, and security compliance checks Performs advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex system and application issues Administers and maintains virtualized environments and on-prem container orchestration platforms (e.g., KVM, Kubernetes), Cloud Platforms like AWS and Azure. Performs administration of our Microsoft Entra tenant, including Identity Protection, Conditional Access policies, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and App Registrations. Manages and troubleshoot complex networking scenarios, including VLANS, Subnets, VPN Gateways, ExpressRoute, and DNS resolution in a hybrid environment. Develops and maintains scripts using PowerShell for automation and management of environments Provides emergency response to critical outages or incidents Aids in audit processes, including implementation of remediation plans Documents system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for internal use Researches emerging tools and technologies that help improve automation, security and performance Collaborates with other professionals to ensure high-quality deliveries within organization guidelines, policies, and procedures Participates in on-call support rotation schedule Mentors and assists Associate Systems Administrators SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS 4-5 years in Systems administration, specifically with a strong emphasis on managing and supporting large-scale infrastructure environments Windows Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, Intune, Office365 Applications Strong foundation in computing, networking, storage and security solutions Strong foundation in operating systems management (Windows, Linux) Automation mastery: Good skills in Ansible, Powershell, Python/bash scripting Experience with managing endpoint solutions using Microsoft Intune, including device configuration, policy management, and application deployment Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) Associates or bachelor's in computer information systems or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Linux+, Windows Client Pro and Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert are a strong plus. Valid passport may be required. This contract position includes the base pay range listed below and is eligible for benefits through the employing agency.
