Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Receiving department by learning and assimilating our receiving procedure and policies.
• Unload furniture orders into the warehouse using a pallet jack or forklift.
• Check off manufacturer or dealer supplied order pack lists.
• Inspect packaging for damaged products and photograph and document damaged product.
• Occasionally assist the Asset Management department by unloading products for customer inventory.
• Palletize or consolidate orders for out-bound shipments or customer pick-ups.
• Occasionally assist office admin staff with the delivery of office/cleaning supplies or the pickup of Fed-Ex/UPS shipments.
• Utilize Microsoft Outlook to communicate with Turnkey project support, scheduling and management.
• Ability to learn and retain knowledge of multiple types of commercial furniture, including product lines, components, configurations, assembly methods, and installation requirements.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; logistics or related certification a plus.
• Prior experience in warehouse operations or asset management preferred.
• Forklift driving experience
• Proficiency in inventory management software and basic computer skills
• Microsoft Office Experience
• Ability to lift up to 70lbs
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively.
• Fluent in English
