Overview

A venture capital firm that invests in early-stage software and Biotechnology companies is seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant to join their team in a dynamic role. This position will support the multiple client-facing executives as well as a few members of the Human Resources department, assist with all administrative functions and ensure the office is running smoothly.


Responsibilities

  • Calendar and expense management for multiple executives, including: Senior Directors, Analysts and other executives within the firm
  • Responsible for travel arrangements, domestic and international, and developing complex itineraries, and agendas to include all meetings, times, locations, air or train travel, and car service
  • Act as a point person when members of the team are traveling by responding to various inquiries in a timely fashion
  • Arrange and coordinate meetings, venues, vendor management, room setup, prepare materials and arrange necessary audio/visual equipment
  • Support internal and client events including but not limited to: Annual Meetings, CEO Conference, Holiday Party, Talent Development Initiatives, and process improvement initiatives
  • Act as a member of the administrative team; this includes coordinating with and providing coverage for other assistants as needed
  • Complete and ad hoc admin or project work as requested by professionals / team members


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 2+ years of administrative experience
  • Experience working in a start-up is a plus
  • Must be able to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment
  • Close attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
