Job description

Position Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced Senior Audiovisual (AV), Multimedia, and Videoย Teleconference (VTC), and Support Engineer to support enterprise wide collaboration technologies across a large government environment. This role will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational support of advanced audiovisual and video conferencing systems used by executive leadership, conference centers, and agency offices.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in AV integration, Cisco collaboration technologies, Microsoft Teams, Webex, Crestron systems, and enterprise network infrastructure. This position requires a customer-focused professional capable of supporting mission critical meetings, executive communications, and enterprise collaboration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise audiovisual and video conferencing solutions.
  • Support Cisco Meeting systems, Cisco Room Kits, Acano/Cisco VTC platforms, Logitech Rally systems, and Crestron integrated conference room technologies.
  • Administer Cisco Webex Control Hub and cloud-based collaboration environments.
  • Support Pexip interoperability solutions and Microsoft Teams collaboration platforms. Provide technical support for virtual meetings using Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Webex.
  • Coordinate with AV integration vendors for installations, upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Validate, test, and ensure operational readiness of newly deployed AV systems.
  • Provide executive level technical support for high profile meetings and presentations. Manage incident tickets and maintain documentation within Enterprise Service Management platforms.
  • Perform preventive maintenance activities to ensure system reliability and performance. Coordinate warranty claims, equipment replacements, and Return Material Authorization (RMA) processes.
  • Escalate complex break fix issues to AV vendors and integration partners as required.
  • Assist with network infrastructure support, including VLAN activations, data connections, and troubleshooting network connectivity issues affecting AV/VTC services.
  • Develop end user training materials, operational documentation, and support guides. Support conference rooms, executive suites, boardrooms, and agency collaboration spaces across multiple locations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Audiovisual Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise AV, VTC, and multimedia environments.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Cisco Webex and Cisco Room Kit technologies
    • Microsoft Teams Rooms
    • Pexip interoperability solutions
    • Logitech Rally conferencing systems
    • Crestron control systems
    • Zoom and Webex collaboration platforms
  • Experience troubleshooting audiovisual hardware, conferencing equipment, and integrated room solutions.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals including:
    • TCP/IP
    • VLANs
    • Switching and connectivity troubleshooting
    • Signal flow concepts
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and coordinating third party support services.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AVIXA CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D Certification.
  • Cisco Collaboration certifications.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership and government environments.
  • Knowledge of AV system design, acoustics, control systems, and multimedia integration.
  • Experience with enterprise ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
