Level III Installer: Lead AV Systems Integrator

Location: Grand Junction, Colorado | Pay Range: $32.00 – $40.00/hr

Audio Video Experts (AVEperts) is Western Colorado’s finest high-end, custom installation company. We specialize in residential and commercial systems, delivering clean modern design, warmth, and top-tier functionality. We are seeking driven, focused professionals who share our passion for excellence to join our team.

The Role: The Level III Installer is our elite field technician and on-site technical leader. You handle the most complex installations, configure systems end-to-end, and mentor the team. You operate AVIXA CTS-I and CEDIA IST+ standards and consistently deliver the AVExperts standard of excellence. This level typically spans 1 to 3 years of continued mastery and ongoing education.

What You’ll Do: You will execute complex rack builds, video walls, high-performance projectors, large speaker arrays, network equipment, and video conferencing systems = all without supervision. You will terminate all cable types including fiber splicing, configure IP addresses, VLANs, and routing, and optimize audio and video settings. You act as the primary field liaison with clients and project managers, and actively mentor Level I and II installers. Note: this role does not include advanced Crestron/Q-SYS coding or full DSP configuration.

Requirements: 5+ years of Residential and Commercial AV experience required. CEDIA or AVIXA (InfoComm) certifications strongly preferred. Experience across Automation, Surveillance, Climate Control, Lighting, Home Theater, Networking, Conferencing, House of Worship, and Paging Systems required. Must be fit to apply - able to lift 100 lbs, work 8-10 hour days, and safely operate ladders, man lifts, saws, and drills. Clean driving record required. Background check and drug screen required..
