Job Objective:
The Vice President, Technology Delivery is responsible for establishing and leading the enterprise technology delivery model that enables reliable, efficient, and customer-focused execution of technology initiatives. This role provides strategic leadership for technology portfolio governance, delivery excellence, service management, organizational change, and end-user technology experience to ensure technology investments deliver measurable business value.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develops and executes the enterprise technology delivery strategy, aligning technology execution with organizational priorities and business objectives.
  • Establishes and leads the technology operating model, integrating portfolio governance, delivery management, service management, organizational change, and end-user experience into a cohesive execution framework.
  • Leads enterprise technology portfolio governance, including prioritization, resource planning, delivery cadence, executive governance, and portfolio reporting.
  • Champions the organization's agile transformation by establishing governance, delivery methodologies, coaching frameworks, and operational standards that improve delivery performance and organizational agility.
  • Establishes enterprise technology governance processes to improve transparency, accountability, risk management, and decision-making across technology initiatives.
  • Provides executive oversight of technology service management processes, including incident, problem, change, release, knowledge, configuration, asset, and service level management.
  • Leads the modernization of technology support services by driving continuous improvement across help desk operations, desktop support, field support, self-service capabilities, knowledge management, and AI-enabled support solutions.
  • Develops and executes strategies that improve the end-user technology experience through enhanced support models, communications, training, adoption, and employee engagement.
  • Partners with business leaders to ensure major technology initiatives include effective organizational change management, stakeholder engagement, communication, training, and adoption strategies.
  • Establishes enterprise service delivery standards, key performance indicators, executive dashboards, and operational scorecards to measure technology delivery effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and business value realization.
  • Leads governance forums and executive operating cadences that provide visibility into technology demand, delivery health, change risk, service performance, and strategic priorities.
  • Collaborates with Infrastructure, Applications, Information Security, Data, Product, and Digital teams to improve cross-functional delivery, operational effectiveness, and customer outcomes.
  • Develops and manages strategic relationships with technology vendors and service providers, ensuring delivery quality, operational performance, and contractual compliance.
  • Leads financial planning activities for technology delivery functions, including budgeting, resource planning, investment prioritization, and operational performance management.
  • Builds, develops, and mentors high-performing leaders while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
  • Performs other duties as needed.

Required Experience and Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Master of Business Administration or related advanced degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience across technology delivery, portfolio management, service management, enterprise transformation, or related disciplines.
  • 10+ years of leadership experience managing enterprise technology organizations or major technology functions.
  • Experience leading enterprise agile transformations, technology governance, IT service management, and organizational change initiatives preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, Prosci, COBIT, or related credentials preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Expert knowledge of technology portfolio management, enterprise delivery governance, agile methodologies, and technology operating models.
  • Comprehensive understanding of IT service management principles, service delivery operations, and technology support organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of organizational change management, stakeholder engagement, communications, and technology adoption practices.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to prioritize investments, manage budgets, and evaluate technology performance.
  • Ability to translate enterprise technology strategy into operational execution frameworks, governance models, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior leaders, business stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Ability to lead large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives involving multiple business units and technology organizations.
  • Strong vendor management and strategic partnership capabilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to support executive decision-making, board-level presentations, and enterprise communication.
  • Ability to interpret complex reporting and ensure data-driven insights are effectively communicated to executive leadership.

Working Environment/Safety Requirements/Physical Requirements:
  • Performs work primarily in a standard office environment and must be able to remain seated for extended periods while working on a computer, with occasional standing, walking, and lifting of light office materials.
  • Travel up to 25% may be required to support business operations, technology initiatives, and vendor relationships.
