Department Overview:

As a member of the Investment Banking Technology team, you will be working with the team’s senior bankers on servicing and executing client transactions. This role combines deep sector expertise with technology-driven solutions, as the VP responsibilities of your role will include:

Role Description:

  • A combination of execution and client coverage including; valuation, financial analysis, strategic analysis, due diligence, deal financing and process management
  • Business and industry research and analysis
  • Preparation of transaction marketing materials and high-quality client deliverables
  • Development, training, and mentoring of junior bankers assigned to projects

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:

  • Outstanding academic qualifications: MBA or other relevant graduate degree desirable, but not required
  • A minimum of 6-10 years of total investment banking experience
  • Demonstrated track record within the Technology sector is a requirement for this role; specific Software experience is strongly preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the corporate banking business and its related products, pertinent regulations and lending and credit approval processes
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Series 79 and 63
