As Peak Credit Union (Peak) continues to advance its ambitious growth strategy, it is seeking a visionary Vice President of Business Services to join its growth leadership team. Reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer, this executive will lead the continued growth of Peak's business banking strategy by expanding its commercial banking presence, strengthening relationships with business members, and helping drive the organization's next phase of growth.

This is more than a commercial banking leadership role; it's an opportunity to build the future of business banking at Peak. The Vice President of Business Services will lead the continued evolution of the credit union's commercial strategy, expanding commercial lending, business deposits, treasury management, and relationship banking while delivering innovative financial solutions that help local businesses succeed. Working collaboratively across the organization, this leader will uncover new growth opportunities, enhance the business member experience, diversify revenue streams, and strengthen Peak's position as the preferred financial partner for businesses across its communities

The successful candidate will bring the leadership, commercial expertise, and strategic vision to help accelerate Peak's continued growth. Qualified candidates will demonstrate:

  • Executive leadership experience overseeing Business Services, Commercial Banking, or Business Banking within a credit union or bank
  • Proven success growing commercial lending portfolios, business deposits, treasury management, and business banking relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute growth strategies that expand market share, increase profitability, and deliver long-term member value
  • Success building, coaching, and leading high-performing teams across sales, relationship management, commercial lending, and business development
  • Strong commercial credit expertise with the ability to balance growth objectives, sound underwriting, and disciplined risk management
  • An enterprise mindset with a track record of collaborating across business lines to drive strategic organizational initiatives
  • Experience leading organizational growth, transformation, and change while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability
  • Exceptional communication, executive presence, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence executive stakeholders, Board members, and the business community
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred

Location & Compensation

This role is based in Oregon or Washington. Candidates must be located in, or willing to relocate to, the region. The annual base salary range for this position is $197,000–$246,270. This position is also eligible for additional uncapped, performance-based incentive compensation.

  • Includes an option for Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance to be paid at a 100% by company for the employee only coverage.
  • We also offer Health Care FSA (HCFSA), Health Savings Account (HSA with employer contributions, and Dependent Care FSA (DCFSA).
  • Employees also have access to Life and AD&D insurance.
  • Employees are able to enroll in our 401k plan.
  • Full-Time Regular employees accrue 8 hours of vacation and 8 hours of sick leave, on a monthly basis.
  • Full-Time Regular hired employees also receive 11 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, 1 floating holiday, 16 hours of self-care time, and 16 hours of volunteer time.
  • All benefits except 401k start the first of the month following date of hire.
  • Employees become eligible to contribute to 401k on the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
