Job description

Job Overview

The VP, Insurance Marketing is responsible for launching and scaling Business Banking's Insurance offering by driving customer acquisition strategy and serving as the central quarterback between Insurance Product and Marketing teams. This role will lead go-to-market for a new digital-led SMB P&C Insurance initiative, partnering across product, risk, legal, and marketing to deliver a compliant, scalable offering for Chase SMB clients. The leader will ensure the right marketing expertise is deployed across channels, while building a cohesive acquisition engine and customer experience across the insurance journey.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end customer acquisition strategy to build awareness, demand, and conversion for Business Banking Insurance offerings.

  • Develop and lead multi-channel acquisition strategy for Insurance, leveraging owned and paid digital channels, bankers and potentially direct mail. 

  • Partner with Analytics, Product and Modeling teams to identify target audiences.

  • Identify, analyze, and interpret campaign performance metrics to leverage past learnings to inform future strategies.  Oversee reporting on marketing funnel performance.

  • Partner with research teams to lead projects to better understand how our products, partners, experience and messaging resonates with target audiences.

  • Partner with competitive intelligence teams to stand up monitoring of competitor marketing, offers, creative, and channel activity.

  • Act as primary liaison to Insurance Product, translating product priorities into marketing plans.  Coordinate across marketing functions to ensure the right SMEs are engaged.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree required; Marketing, Communications, Business majors preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years in Marketing strategy with experience in Insurance preferred.

  • Strong written and oral presentation skills, with the ability to convey information simply and clearly to users and business partners.

  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively.

  • Existing knowledge and experience in using JPMC's Marketing tools and platforms.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach and passion for innovation.
  • Deep experience coordinating across product + marketing + digital
