Job Description:
As the Vice President (VP) of Manufacturing, you will lead our manufacturing operations to achieve operational excellence, efficiency, and quality in the production of aerospace components and systems. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of manufacturing, including production planning, process optimization, and resource management, to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products to our customers.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Providing strategic leadership and direction to the manufacturing team, aligning manufacturing efforts with company goals and objectives.
Developing and implementing manufacturing strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize production processes, reduce costs, and improve quality and delivery performance.
Leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency, productivity, and safety, utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and best practices.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of manufacturing activities and alignment with customer requirements.
Building and developing a high-performing manufacturing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.
Proven track record of executive leadership and management experience in manufacturing, preferably within the aerospace manufacturing industry, with a demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence and achieve strategic objectives.
Strong technical expertise in manufacturing processes, automation, and quality management systems, with a deep understanding of aerospace manufacturing requirements and standards.
